First impressions
* Ohno's solo is as expected. I can soooo imagine Ohno singing the song on stage with his solo dance.
* Jun is still nasally but much much much better than before.
* Nino... well I adore this guy's vocals as much as Ohno's... and his solo is sooo upbeat and happy. Kinda like Himitsu

It's been a long time since I woke up early (around 8 to 9am) on a Sunday morning to have a hearty breakfast/brunch. I remember going to the A&W restaurant in AMK when I was a little kid to have brunch on Sundays. I would order the set meal consisting of waffles, eggs, sausage and toast. And if we stayed long enough for lunch to start, we'd order chicken wings and curly fries too! But all that changed when we started to grow up. School got in the way of leisurely breakfasts and playtime at the park.
Now almost twenty years later, I have the sudden urge to get back to spending my Sundays/Saturdays relaxing and chilling out. I've been engrossed in school and work that I have not had time to take a breather. So coming across the ad/write-up 'The Paragon of Pure Indulgence' seemed like a god-send.
There's Caffe Beviamo (#05-K3/K4) with their all-day breakfasts. Dome Cafe (#04-09/K1) which serves muesli with fruit and yogurt as well as the traditional American Breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, sausages and grilled mushrooms). Yum! There's also a Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlet. A hearty breakfast plus a good cuppa coffee/tea. What more could I ask for? Ohh yes! I totally forgot my favouritest place: Coffee Club! If this is the same place/restaurant that I came across when I was in Brisbane, I can die a happy girl. The breakfast sets were huge!! Imagine 5 adults sharing 3 sets with leftovers too! There's pancakes, waffles, healthy stuff and unhealthy stuff to choose from too!
Ok that's it! All this talk about food and breakfast is driving me nuts. I shall go for brunch next week!!!!!
With my new schedule, I am much more relaxed and free. I have more time to rest and indulge in simple pleasures like veging out in front of the computer, surfing for Arashi-related news, reading magazines and watching Season 3 of Bones. Yay!
Is anyone going to the Summer Festival on 21.08 this year? I didn't manage to go for it last year cos of some unfortunate events so I really want to go for it this year... Can anyone get me 2 tickets from the Japanese Association? Or I'm afraid there will be very little tickets left for sale on the actual day itself. Sigh.
1 day. 24 hours. 24x60 minutes. 24x60x60 seconds.
1 day ago I never expected the news to come. And it did.
1 day ago I did not have a pile sitting in the corner. Now I do.
1) Rest well. Take naps if possible or sleep for about 8 hours a night.
2) Catch a movie once a week (preferably a midnight movie).
3) Go for a facial, pedicure, massage once a month.
Been feeling really terrible the past few days. First getting gastric problems and then by the severe bout of food poisoning. And amidst all of this, deadlines to meet, proposals to map out and submit. Sometimes I hate my life. And other times I love my life. But thankfully during this stressful and depressing period, my trusty netbook and internet service provider did not let me down. In between the mini crisis (many), I managed to watch 10 episodes of 'Accidentally On Purpose' starring the ever youthful Jenna Elfman (she kind of reminds me of Jennifer Aniston in Friends) and the hunky Jon Foster. Why do I adore this show? (1) There is obvious chemistry between the 2 leads. I can't help but wish they'd fall in love and get married. (2) Even the supporting cast are great!! In a nutshell, Scottish friend makes me laugh with her one-liners and cynical yet practical attitude towards life. Ex-boyfriend is a smarmy pain-in-the-butt who still 'cares' for the girl. Perpetually-stoned best friend is always stoned and does the stupidest things. Bimbotic younger sister who is enthusiastic about EVERYTHING and makes everyone laugh/stare in disbelief at her silly ways and comments. It's a pity this show was cancelled after 1 season cos it would have been great to see what happens to the parents once the baby is gone. But oh well, guess the network just thought it wouldn't be a good show despite its high ratings.
1) Everyday I come across some little nugget of information on Arashi and I fall in love with them all over again.
2) I have a friend who constantly wastes '2 minutes of my life' cos whenever she recounts a personal story/incident/event, her recount never has a 'proper' ending. Sometimes I don't get the relevance of her story. And it just hit me today that Ohno has the 'same kind of effect' too. Sometimes I'll go 'huh'? in response to what he says cos it is just sooo abstract! At the same time, I can't help but laugh at his earnestness. He is just so adorkable!
